Recesky: DIY Twin Lens Reflex Camera

My early birthday present for myself! A DIY Twin reflex Camera! (it's the only thing I can afford LOL) It's pretty awesome considering the price. The assembling part was a bonus! Really fun and challenging!

The box

complicated parts and pieces!

Film winder is loose!
I am yet to figure how to deal with this since I haven't got a chance to try this camera out (I still have 1 roll of film to develop from my Diana!)

Lenses were too tight!
It is really hard to focus the camera so this really frustrated me but then I thought why not make the screw thinner? Since it's made out of plastic the answer was: SAND PAPER!

Finally
I had a really hard time with putting on the lenses but here's a tip for easy screwing of the lenses. It was not included on the manual so I was pretty happy to stumble upon this on other reviews. WEEW!

Make sure to align the 2 small dots on both lenses!

And at last! it's done! Will post some photos as soon as I get a chance to use it :) Boyfriend got sad because I didn't ask for his help when I assembled this. He was sleeping kasi! HAHAHA! Love you baby

The hardest part of the assembly for me, was the shutter. the springs have to be placed correctly, I had to watch a couple of videos because the manual was not very helpful After my nth try, I finally did it! :)

Actual quality of view finder (no post process!) Not vivid because subject is too close, lenses were out of focus!
I'm so excited to use this! My Diana has a friend nao. YEY
