Cravings at Hanamaruken

We decided to end our weekend with Japanese food and Hanamaruken made us really happy with our choice! Before the weekend started I was craving for ramen and our go-to ramen place is usually Ramen Nagi but we want to be adventurous people and decided to try a new place.

Upon entering I was glad that the place was spacious giving it a classy ambiance, even when the place was filled we didn't fill uneasy. I also appreciate the thought they gave into giving the place a very Japanese vibe.

We also liked how they served the food really quickly.  Look at this happy camper, chopsticks already in place!

I didn't order their best seller, which was Signature Happiness Ramen (480.00) because i'm not adventurous enough to have ribs on my ramen. And I did not regret it at all, the serving was good enough for two people and this ramen is perfection; the broth was rich but with the right amount of thickness, the noodles was average but oh man the meat, the glorious pork belly, it melts in your mouth! It's basically the same as Ramen Nagi's pork belly which is great because for the same experience you get it cheaper.

Pot Belly Ramen (380.00)
The Gyoza was average but all the Gyoza's I've had, all tastes the same to me with it's distinct ginger & chives flavor. All I can say is that it was very moist.

Gyoza (150.00)
This was the least of my favorite because the flavor of the meat was very similar to cured meats you buy in the market but my boyfriend liked it.

Happiness Rice Bowl (250.00)
We will surely be back and will definitely try more from their menu.
